Fresh air hose devices are self-contained breathing apparatus and are mainly used in contaminated or oxygen-deficient work areas where normal filter breathing apparatus cannot be used or a compressed air supply cannot be provided. This is the case, for example, in pits or silos due to contamination and/or low oxygen content. Fresh air hose devices, which can be divided into fresh air suction hose devices and fresh air pressure hose devices, are used for these areas. Here, the required breathing air is fed from an area outside the polluted ambient atmosphere to the breathing connection via supply hoses. Fresh air pressure hose devices: Fresh air pressure hose devices differ from suction hose devices in that the breathing air is supplied to the device at a slight overpressure by means of a blower. This ensures that there is a slight overpressure in the hose and in the downstream device system, which virtually eliminates the possibility of pollutants entering through any leaks. Product features: With the e-breathe fresh air pressure hose device, the wearer's breathing is supported by a respiratory protection blower, thus relieving the wearer. The respiratory protection blower is positioned and secured at the end of the hose in a non-toxic area. The blower then feeds breathable air into the wearer's full-face mask via the connected breathing hose. This ensures that the full-face mask is constantly supplied with breathable air at a positive pressure.
