Die neuen Überdruck-Leichthauben der e-breathe Short & Long Hood Serie stehen für maximalen Tragekomfort bei höchstem Schutzniveau. Sie verfügen über ein attraktives, ergonomisches Design und eine weich anliegende Gesichtsabdichtung aus elastischem Material, welches sich den verschiedenen Gesichtsgrößen und -formen anpasst. Durch das spezielle Design ist es möglich, unter der Haube eine Brille zu tragen, ohne einen spürbaren, störenden Luftzug.

Im Inneren der Haube befindet sich eine einstellbare und fest verbaute Kopfhalterung, die einen sofortigen Einsatz ermöglicht. Die Hauben wurden so konzipiert, dass sie einfach an- und abzulegen sind. Durch eine Schlaufe am Vorderen und Hinteren Bereich der Haube, kann diese justiert werden und ohne Berührung des Außenmaterials abgelegt werden.

In Verbindung mit einer Luftquelle (Atemschutzgebläse oder Druckluft-Regelventil) wird ein konstanter Überdruck innerhalb der Haube aufgebaut, wodurch ein Eindringen von Schadstoff verhindert und die höchste Schutzklasse erreicht wird. Der Luftstrom verläuft innerhalb der Haube, entlang des Visiers, sodass kein unangenehmer Luftzug oder eine unangenehme Geräuschentwicklung entsteht. Die überschüssige und verbrauchte Luft wird mittels nah am Mund positioniertem Ausatemventil abgeführt, wodurch die CO2 Konzentration minimiert und die Kommunikation erheblich verbessert wird.

Die Hauben sind in zwei Varianten aus drei unterschiedlichen Materialien verfügbar:

Limited-Use Hauben: Bestehen aus einem geräuscharmen, robusten, knitter- und fusselfreien Material, welches nach einer Kontamination/Einsatzende direkt entsorgt wird.

Premium (Mehrweg) Hauben: Bestehen aus einem geräuscharmen, robusten, wiederverwendbaren und wasserabweisenden Material. Nach dem Einsatz kann die Haube gereinigt und wiederverwendet werden.

Chemical Hauben: Bestehen aus einem geräuscharmen, robusten, knitterfreien, antistatischen und chemikalienresistentem Material, welches nach einer Kontamination/Einsatzende direkt entsorgt wird.
