Product information "e-breathe SH1 - Limited-Use"

The new e-breathe Short & Long Hood series of lightweight positive pressure hoods offer maximum comfort and the highest level of protection. They feature an attractive, ergonomic design and a soft-fitting face seal made of elastic material that adapts to different face sizes and shapes. The special design makes it possible to wear glasses under the hood without any noticeable, annoying draughts.

Inside the hood is an adjustable, permanently installed head restraint that allows for immediate use. The hoods are designed to be easy to put on and take off. A loop at the front and back of the hood allows it to be adjusted and removed without touching the outer material. In conjunction with an air source (respiratory protection blower or compressed air control valve), a constant overpressure is built up inside the hood, preventing the ingress of pollutants and achieving the highest protection class. The

air flow runs inside the hood, along the visor, so that there is no unpleasant draught or noise . The excess and used air is expelled through an exhalation valve positioned close to the mouth, minimising CO2 concentration and significantly improving communication.

The hoods are available in two versions made from three different materials:

Limited-use hoods: Made from a low-noise, robust, crease- and lint-free material, which is disposed of immediately after contamination/end of use.

Premium (reusable) hoods: Made from a low-noise, robust, reusable and water-repellent material . After use, the hood can be cleaned and reused.
